The Lord’s Place Joshua Thrift Store ,7600 S. Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach held its grand reopening on Monday, August 9, 2021.  The thrift store closed temporarily after a fire in March this year. The stores provide an opportunity for formerly homeless clients to complete customer service work experience training in a retail setting.

Stocked with furniture, household decor, small kitchen appliances, dishes, silverware, and clothing, the store will be open to the public Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is closed on Sunday. Masks are required for entry.

The Lord’s Place Joshua Thrift Store’s Dixie Highway location is one of three thrift stores operated by The Lord’s Place. Proceeds from the store support The Lord’s Place programs and services. Clients of The Lord’s Place receive vouchers to “purchase” clothing, furniture, and other important items.  The thrift stores hope to help the homeless out of destitution.
