While Tiger Woods won five times on the PGA Tour in 2013, bringing his total number of years winning at least five events to 10, he extended his majorless streak to 18 in a row.

Woods will have his eye on two important records in 2014. The Jupiter Island resident enters the year only three wins shy of Sam Snead's all time mark of 82 career PGA Tour wins and he will also look to win a major for the first time since 2008. He currently sits at 14, four behind Jack Nicklaus' record.

Woods has had a history of success at all four of this year's majors locations. He has won four times at Augusta National. He also has a victory at Valhalla, winning the 2000 PGA Championship and at Royal Liverpool, winning the 2006 Open Championship. The only major venue this year that he hasn't previously won at is Pinehurst No. 2, host to the 2014 U.S. Open. In previous U.S. Opens at Pinehurst he has finished runner up and in a tie for third.

Woods will start his 2014 campaign at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines where he is the defending champion.
