Living the Florida lifestyle means you can spend plenty of family time outside all year-round! It's key to set up your outdoor oasis exactly how you want it so your time with family is focused on each other. Here are a few tips for setting up the perfect outdoor kitchen.

The Set-Up - Have it Your Way

The first thing to consider when building the ideal summer kitchen is yourself! What do you like to eat? How do you like it cooked? Some may choose the option with two or three grills with a pizza oven. Some may want a cook top and a smoker. The options are endless!

The next thing to consider is your workflow. When setting up your outdoor kitchen, consider the space needed. Are you going to be working alone or will your sons be flipping the burgers while you prepare the salad? Making sure your kitchen is set up for success will be key to enjoying the space.

Wash it Down - Keep it Cool

It’s not all about the food in your outdoor kitchen. Making sure there’s ample space for your favorite beverages is a key next step. We suggest at least two countertop high refrigerators to guarantee your meats and drinks stay chilled!

Count on Your Counter space

Creating the perfect outdoor kitchen is one thing, make sure that kitchen is flexible is another. Cookouts can get unorganized in a hurry, so having the counter space for the whole family to use is a major plus. Extra counter space can serve as a buffet line or a burger building station!

BONUS

Add a covered seating area that will not only provide shade from the sun but will also protect you and your guests from the rain. On cooler evenings warm up to a cozy fire pit, an outdoor fireplace or patio heaters.

Other things to consider vary depending on which hobbies you enjoy. If you like to fish, you’ll need a filet table, or if you like to paddleboard, a board rack is a must!
