Loggerhead Marinelife Center will host TurtleFest on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  This daylong event is designed to introduce the public to the work that Loggerhead Marinelife Center does.  TurtleFest focuses on promoting conservation through an up close interaction with threatened and endangered sea turtles.  The festival will feature educational presentations, beautiful art, shopping, games, crafts, rock-climbing wall, gymnastics, giant slide, and live music.  There will also be various food and beverage from vendors offering delicious treats.  The main goal is to have people come to TurtleFest and learn about what they do to protect the oceans and the creatures that inhabit them and to understand the important role this nonprofit organization plays in the community.
