The 4th Annual Veterans Family Fishing Classic will be held on Saturday, October 13th at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. All local veterans and their families are invited to spend the day fishing and exploring the lighthouse with lunch provided by Tommy Bahama.

The event will be from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. with fishing equipment provided. Pros will be onsite giving some shore fishing lessons for those interested and volunteers will be available to help wounded vets.

The event was organized by FishingCommunity.org and the Fisheries for Veterans Project (F4V). The project connects vets and their families to local government, communities and nonprofits in their localities. The mission is to give emphasis to health and life cycle management in a stressful world utilizing the tools of public fishing and water resources.
