Waves of Progress at Loggerhead Marinelife Center

Sea turtles tell us the health of our oceans, and the oceans tell us the health of our planet. Loggerhead Marinelife Center(LMC) in Juno Beach is working diligently to conserve the health of our ocean ecosystems through public education, research, and rehabilitation with a special focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles. In 2019, they will break ground on their much needed expansion campaign, “Waves of Progress”.

Between operation of the sea turtle hospital and the Juno Beach Pier, LMC welcomes more than 450,000 guests each year. As Palm Beach County grows, LMC is preparing for the next phase in development by significantly increasing their educational capacity, doubling their hospital capacity, and significantly expanding their research laboratory to create new programs to greater serve the community.
