Celebrate World Oceans Day at Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center. They are offering half price admission for their daily programs of Stingray Feeding, Sea Turtle Talk, and Gamefish Feeding. Make it a day of family-friendly fun!
 
World Oceans Day provides a unique opportunity to honor, help protect, and conserve the world’s oceans. Healthy world oceans is critical to our survival. Within our one ocean, there are five distinct oceans: the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Arctic Ocean, and Southern Ocean. They generate most of the oxygen we breathe, help feed us, regulate our climate, provides sea-lanes for international trade, and provide limitless inspiration! World Oceans Day is a global day of ocean celebration for a better future. World Oceans Day provides a unique opportunity to take personal and community action to conserve the ocean and its resources. 
 
Florida Oceanographic Society is a non-profit organization founded in 1964 with the mission to inspire environmental stewardship of Florida’s coastal ecosystems through education, research and advocacy. Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center is a leading state and nationally recognized environmental organization. It is a 57-acre marine life nature center located on Hutchinson Island in Stuart, situated between the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean. Florida Oceanographic offers coastal hardwood hammocks and mangrove swamp communities which provides educational programs to people of all ages and conducts research and restoration programs that lead to healthy coastal ecosystems.
