YOUR TROPHY is SWIMMING in SOUTH FLORIDA
Florida has launched a campaign to better facilitate its Trophy Catch largemouth bass conservation program. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission biologists are marking Large Mouth Bass greater than 8 pounds with a dart tag for anglers who catch and release in Florida. Fishing for these big bass, freshwater anglers have the chance to win some awesome cash prizes!
Simple steps to earn your reward:
1.   Catch the bass.
2.   Take a photo that shows the entire bass on the digital scale and its weight must be legible in the photo.
3.   Release the bass.
4.   Submit your entry at: www.TrophyCatchFlorida.comÂ
The goal for this program is to help FWC collect valid information through the help of citizenship. So, Florida Wildlife Commission can better conserve and enhance trophy bass fishing. It is also encourage that citizens catch and release these huge bass fish that are valuable to South Florida’s freshwaters.
The program was set up to simply get anglers excited about Florida’s freshwater fishing and encourage everyone to purchase licenses that are necessary for fishing related businesses, local communities and help raise funds for conservation uses.
There are three different club levels depending on your size catch!
Lunker Club – (8-9.9 pounds)
Trophy Club – (10-12.99 pounds)
Hall of Fame Club- (13 pounds or greater)

"For Season-3 (1 Oct 2014-30 Sep 2015), everyone who registers in the TrophyCatch program is automatically included in a drawing for a Phoenix 619 Pro bass boat and trailer, powered by a 200 hp Mercury outboard and equipped with a MotorGuide trolling motor and Power-Pole. Every verified entry in TrophyCatch adds 10 extra chances to win. The winner will be drawn randomly in October, after each season ends."
