Green Cay Wetlands is a stunning nature preserve in Boynton Beach, Florida. The preserve spans 100 acres and is home to beautiful estuaries, waterways, mangrove swamps and hundreds of species of animals, fish, insects and plants. 

Green Cay Wetlands feature miles of boardwalk that soar over the water and the swamps, perfect for viewing the scenery that surrounds. Along with the acres of beautiful nature, the miles of boardwalk there is also the Green Cay Nature Center. The Nature Center features a number of great exhibits for kids and adults alike. Some of the exhibits you can see here include a demonstration of the water cycle, a turtle pond, frog terrariums, a gator hole with hatchling gators and a wetland diorama.

The beloved Abacoa Food Truck Invasion is coming to town this weekend and it is sure to be a hit, just like every other time it rolls to town. The food trucks bring an eclectic mix of delicious street foods, hand crafted cocktails and family fun to one easy location. 

Artisan chefs prepare different dishes from all over the world in their tiny kitchens, within their food trucks. You can find things like authentic tacos from Mexico, Korean specialties; Thai noodles, amazing Italian meatballs and mouthwatering burgers and hand cut fries. Locals and tourists alike have flocked to the food trucks in droves for the tasty delicacies the trucks offer. The Abacoa Food Trucks have been a hit in Jupiter and all of Palm Beach County since the spring of 2013!

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach hosts a fun and educational fish feeding program for the kids. This is a free program an it  takes place at the Mangrove exhibit, which displays the habitats of Florida’s coastal ecosystems. 

Kids who attend the program will get to learn about the different animals that live in these environments and their feeding habits. They will get to see an up-close and live feeding to see how the fish feed and interact with each other. Kids get to touch and see the different types of foods these fish eat too, from corals, anemones, other fish and plankton. 

The Fish Feeding program at Loggerhead Marinelife Center takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:00pm. The program is free for everyone.

The hilarious, comedic play created by Mel Brooks 16 years ago is now coming to our local town of Jupiter! Yes, “The Producers” is coming to the Maltz Theater and it plans to bring some sassy, adult humor to its audiences. 

Brooks’ Oscar-winning show was adapted to Broadway’s golden stage, which transformed the show into a record breaking musical.  The show combines a great sense of humor with an underlying “political satire” that may not be for all audiences. The show is full of powerful performers, amazing songs and sure to deliver a fun and borderline offensive (in a humorous way!) punch to its spectators.
