People innately love being near the water. Just the act of looking at a body of water measurably lowers stress levels. Jupiter and several other beach towns in Palm Beach County and Martin County have made the list for the "50 Best Beach Towns To Live In" according to WalletHub. The survey and study compared and rated beach towns across the United States.

Every beach town has its pros and cons, and the ratings were based on six categories for the study. The categories were weather, safety, affordability, education, health, and quality of life. The towns and cities ranged in population and most cities and towns on the list are in the state of California or Florida. Palm Beach County and Martin County have a few beach towns that have made the list.
