The Annual Grand Tasting is a great place to eat, drink and socialize. This year the walk-around event will take place at a new location, the Palm Beach Convention Center.

With the change in venues, there will be more entrees, desserts, wines, and spirits than ever.

Some things, however, will stay the same. For example, the annual Grand Chef Throwdown will once again be hosted by Mo & Sally and Jay Cashmere. In the "Throwdown" three local chefs will compete for $10,000 charity-based prize.

Thousands of lights illuminating foliage around the garden. The Gardens Of Lights presentation was installed by the same company that produces Admirals Cove, and Las Olas's displays.

This is the first time the garden history it has been open at night.  Since the garden in the flight path of Palm Beach International Airport organizers had to work with them and PBSO to make sure the lights weren't distracting to pilots.

Whether you’re on a date or with friends, going out in West Palm Beach to watch some stand-up comedy is a great way to spend your night. The Improv is the premier comedy club in West Palm Beach that features the biggest and brightest names in comedy 52 weeks a year.

Did you know that standup comedy was born in the United States? Historians trace the origins of stand-up comedy to a very specific time and place: the variety, or burlesque shows, that flourished in New York City’s turn-of-the-century vaudeville theaters. Although widely known for its racy stripteases and dancing-girl performances, burlesque also featured energetic, fast-paced comedy routines. The comedians designed their material to appease a new sort of audience: a ragtag crew of…

Grammy Award winners Herb Alpert, the trumpet titan behind Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass, and Lani Hall, the former lead singer of Sergio Mendes’ group Brasil ’66, unite in a jazz fusion of festive fare. Last year Alpert released The Christmas Wish, his first holiday album in half a century.

Mr. and Ms. Hall perform medleys of their ’60s hits, along with standards by composers from Irving Berlin to the Beatles, their joie de vivre permeated the room. The discreetly exuberant brand of Brazilian- and Mexican-flavored pop is honest and uplifting. The Hall’s music has been described as Happy music made by happy people, so plan on heading to the Kravis Center this weekend for a great night and even greater music.
