The grocery chain has begun selling fresh lionfish, a prickly, non-native species at 26 stores in Florida. Once caught and placed on ice, the fish is safe to consume after its venomous spines have been removed. Employees at stores carrying the fish have been trained to remove the spines, leaving white fish meat. The white flaky meat has a sweet flavor and tastes like snapper. The Town of Jupiter planning and zoning commission is reviewing a 72,000-square-foot CineBowl & Grille project. A grass field located across from the Roger Dean Stadium in Abacoa, has been vacant since the 16-screen Crown Theater was demolished in 2006. If approved by the town council, it will become a $21 million entertainment complex with bowling, food, movies and music and will bring entertainment to Abacoa located in Jupiter. No dates are set for public hearings. CineBowl & Grille is a family-friendly place. The design for CineBowl & Grille calls for 20-bowling lanes and restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating.
