For the second Women’s World Cup in a row, the United States met back up with Japan in the final. The two highest ranked teams in the world fought for the final cup once again.

This has been a hard journey with very different teams to get past. Until last night final game, U.S.A came out to start the final game with one of the most incredible starts in any sporting event!
Through the series of games, Japan got thrown into the easy bracket and had some rough performances. The United States, on the other hand, had to beat Sweden and Germany to get this far in the World Cup. These two teams scheduled with each other between some major competitions especially this final 2015 game last night in Canada.

Around 6am ET on Monday morning, Rory Mcllroy posted a picture to his Instagram in a walking boot and on crutches. The post had a caption that said “Total rupture of left ATFL (ankle ligament) and associated joint capsule damage in a soccer kickabout with friends on Saturday. Continuing to assess extent of injury and treatment plan day by day. Rehab already started..... Working hard to get back as soon as I can.”

Rehab time can range anywhere from 10 days to 6 weeks depending on the severity of the sprain. That puts not just the next few weeks, but the remainder of the 2015 season in doubt for the Palm Beach Gardens resident.

Golf.com and Sports Illustrated ranked all 50 states by their “Golfiness” and the state of Florida was given the top spot on the list. The list, compiled by Golf.com’s travel expert Joe Passov, was done by rating each state on a 0-50 scale in four categories: avidness of golfers, quantity and quality of courses, legacy/vibe, and Joe’s own rating.

Royal Palm Beach resident Alan Morin carded a four day total of even par to finish in a tie for third at the 2015 PGA Professional National Championship at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. That third place finish earned the assistant pro at The Falls Country Club in Lake Worth a spot at the PGA Championship at Whistling Straights August 13th-16th.

Morin shot rounds of 70, 72, 72, and 68 to be one of the 20 PGA Professionals to earn a trip to the season’s final major.

Quail Ridge Country Club in Boynton Beach will demolish their current clubhouse to make way for a new $22 million clubhouse. According to the club's General Manager William Langley, the 40 year old clubhouse will be torn down in the next few weeks and the new one is expected to be completed in October of 2017. 

Quail Ridge, which boasts two 18-hole championship courses, had it's original clubhouse built in 1975. It had been previously renovated in 1990 and again in 2001.

Langley said the current clubhouse is “traditional,” while the replacement will have more height, higher ceilings and views that overlook the putting green and practice range. It will have outdoor and indoor seating as well as an outdoor bar and nanowalls that allow the windows to…
