A new French-inspired restaurant is expected to open this January on Royal Poinciana Way in Palm Beach. The new restaurant is taking over the former location of Nick and Johnnie’s, which ended its nine-year run in the fall.

The restaurant will be called Maven, and is a collaboration between Chef W. Scott Osif, Nantucket restauranteur David Silvia, and Kevin Anderson, the director of operations.

The trio are known for their work at two popular Nantucket restaurants, Gallery Beach and Afterhouse. Silvia, also founded Lola 41, and Lola Burger, both in Nantucket as well.

The menu for Maven will feature oysters, 2.5-pound Maine lobsters, Nantucket Bay scallops, and more on their main menu and raw bar menu. The menu will also feature local fish, fresh cut meats, elegant French and American wines, beers, and cocktails.

Maven will also feature outdoor seating and a patio with a retractable roof. The restaurant plans to continuously serve food from 11:30 am to 10 pm.

Maven will be located at 207 Royal Poinciana Way in Palm Beach.
