Every Tuesday, at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is a new program for seniors in the area, called “Science for Seniors.” Science for Seniors is an incredible lecture series discussing health and science. What makes this program so impressive is its leader, Dr. Brown of Harvard University and Tufts University of Medicine. Dr. Brown has some incredible knowledge and experience to share and some great tools to help get the participants involved in the lecutres.

Taking place this coming Sunday at Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach are “Stories Under the Big Top.” The young art students of the Theatre for the Young Arts will be dressed in elaborate costumes with their faces painted to look like the characters of the circus. 

The fun stories are performed by these young talents to bring you to the edge of your seat with laughter and entertainment. A fun and new way for kids to express their creativity is coming to town, and its called wire art. Wire art is a type of art form that comes from a group of artisans in Cape Town, South Africa. It combines wire, beads and other elements for kids to put together in their own way to make art sculptures, jewelry and more. 

Martine Lipnitsky will teach the upcoming wire art classes. Martine learned how to make wire art while visiting South Africa. She saw the art being created and sold on the streets by local artisans. The Wild Dolphin Camp hosted by the Under Blue Waters Foundation is all the rage for Jupiter kids these days! It is an incredible camp for kids ages 8-15 who are passionate about the oceans and all they behold. 

By partaking in the Wild Dolphin Camp, kids become honorary “junior marine biologists” and will earn their Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) “Skin Diver certification.” This means, the campers master their skills of snorkeling while researching and exploring their local ocean.
