The waterfront at Downtown Palm Beach Gardens is set to bring lots of giggles and smiles to children and their families. The treasured children’s carousel made its return to the area on January 20. The beloved ride was disassembled in August 2020 and has been beautifully refurbished with a fresh look. Additionally, the merry-go-round has been reassembled at its new lakeside location on the east side of the plaza near Cheesecake Factory.

A rare Andy Warhol exhibit is at the Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta. The ArtCenter debuted “Warhol! Warhol! Warhol!” in its Spencer Gallery on January 13. The exhibit features more than twenty pieces of rare Warhol works from the collections of Beth Rudin DeWoody and Marshall Fields.

Warhol, the iconic artist is best known for his Campbell’s Soup Cans and silkscreen portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and more. The Lighthouse ArtCenter exhibition chronicles his early and late-career with illustrations created during his freelance days in the early 1960s to his experimental Oxidation paintings.

A display of pieces by ceramicist Ray Gross, including a life-size porcelain Harley-Davidson motorcycle, will pay homage to the Warhol works.…

It is now preserved as a unique Nature Center now and is home to native plants, live animals, and a world-class shell collection.
