Find inner peace through the practice of mindfulness.   Mindfulness is the practice of being present in the moment the ability to be fully present, aware of what we are doing and where we are at, not responding to what is going on everywhere.  Mindful Magazine suggests that the “mind is fully attending to what’s happening, to what you’re doing, to the space you’re moving through. Our mind takes flight, we lose touch with our body, and pretty soon we’re engrossed in obsessive thoughts about something that just happened or fretting about the future. And that makes us anxious.”

The Mindfulness Support Groups of Palm Beach County offer programs based on the practice of mindfulness.  Programs are offered throughout Palm Beach County. This course will immerse you in techniques which will teach you how to stay in the moment.  Learn the tools to embrace each moment and take the time to be truly present in your life.  These tools help you reduce stress and improve your overall health and well-being. The practice of mindfulness helps individuals learn to “actively engage in self-care, finding a greater balance and peace of mind”.

The Jupiter Medical Center has opened a new center for “mindfulness to address yet another facet of the community’s health and wellness”. The Jupiter Medical Center, Calcagnini Center for Mindfulness, 1230 South Old Dixie Highway, Jupiter is offering meditation classes weekly as well as 8-week courses for mindfulness.  Mindfulness practice cultivates universal human qualities and does not require anyone to change their beliefs. Everyone can benefit and it’s easy to learn. Anyone can do it.  Give it a try.
