First of all: people unfamiliar with the area will ask, “Is there good surfing in West Palm Beach?” not understanding that West Palm Beach doesn't really have a beach. Surfing on Palm Beach island is a different story, but the only kind of West Palm Beach surfing is wakeboarding at Shark Wake Park. Our Palm Beach County slice of paradise is not only renowned for its stunning beaches and dreamt-about lifestyle, but also usually has the best surfing in all of South Florida (except for that late September 2022 blast from Hurricane Ian that pretty much bypassed the Palm Beaches completely and blew up in South Beach). So, in a strange, but particular order, let’s look at the best Palm Beach surfing and other surf spots near West Palm Beach.

Cupid is almost here and has some furry friends joining him just in time for Valentine’s Day! Saturday, February 13th from 12 PM – 4 PM, find ‘The One” at Johnnie Brown’s in Delray Beach where pups from Big Dog Ranch Rescue will be available for adoption! All well behaved dogs are encouraged to join for this fur-tastic event. The 2021 Honda Classic will take place at PGA National Resort & Spa on mArch 15-21. As of now, the tournament will host patrons but with a reenvisoned planned from what we are use to seeing at PGA National.

Since 2007 the legends of the game have made a stop in Boca Raton for the PGA TOUR Champions event at the Old Course at Broken Sound Golf Club. This year, the event will return to Broken Sound but not only take place in a month, it will also feature a brand new title sponsor. The TimberTech Championship will be played in front of a national TV audience the week of October 26 to November 1, 2020.
