The Wellington Tennis Center will celebrate its seventh-year anniversary, its grand opening was June 9, 2015. The 4,506 square foot facility features twenty-one self-irrigated Har-Tru® clay courts, a canvas-covered rooftop balcony, and a pro-shop. The biggest boating safety tip for Palm Beach County boaters is always wearing a lifejacket! Most people who drown in a boating accident could swim! Never rely on your ability to swim to keep you safe in a boating-related emergency! It is advised that you wear a United States Coast Guard-approved flotation device. In an emergency such as rough water, the onset of severe weather, or boating trouble like taking on water can occur and leave little time to put on life jackets. Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is located at 4000 Morikami Park Road, in Delray Beach. Morikami has been part of the Delray/Boca Raton community for over 100 years! In 1904, Jo Sakai, a recent graduate of New York University, returned to his homeland of Miyazu, Japan.  His intention was to organize a consortium of pioneering farmers and lead them to what is now northern Boca Raton. With the help of the Model Land Company, a subsidiary of Henry Flagler’s East Coast Railroad, they formed a farming colony they named Yamato, an ancient name for Japan. For years these settlers grew pineapples for shipment to markets in the north.

One of the many benefits of living in Palm Beach County is the ability to jump on a boat and get out on the water and soak up the sunshine.
