Dessert foodies can rejoice! Proper Ice Cream Shop, a gourmet ice cream concept, has just opened a location in Boca Raton. Proper can be found at the park Place Plaza. The ice cream shop offers flavors such as Sicilian pistachio with caramelized figs, blood orange sorbet, key lime pie tart, fresh pear gelato with burnt sugar and many more.

As many artisan crafts begin, proper ice cream started in the home kitchen of owner Rick Felberbaum.  After making several trips to Italy and other “big foodie” capitals such as New York, San Francisco and Chicago left him missing such incredible textures and flavors. The Achievement Centers for Children and Families of Delray Beach will unveil its “Adopt-A-Classroom” strategy for the forthcoming 2021-2022 school year.  The purpose of the program is to give crucial support to the organization’s Early Learning Program classrooms. Achievement Centers for Children and Families supporters can make a one-time donation of $1,500 to “adopt” an Early Learning Program classroom.  The donation will help provide supplies to the school children throughout the 2021-2022 school year.
