Palm Beach County's award-winning park system offers the widest possible range of leisure opportunities and with over 8,000 acres of accessible parkland to discover. Watersports sports, fitness, ecological, and cultural opportunities abound, as well as restful places for peace and quiet.

One of the newest parks is Waterway Park in Jupiter. The $7 million park opened just three months ago.  April 2017 the new park unlocked a new Intracoastal entry point for the community. Located on the west side of the waterway at the base of the Indiantown Road bridge.

Waterway Park offers a boat ramp, 52 boat trailer parking spaces and 29 vehicle spaces.  Additionally, there is a tortoise preserve area, a boardwalk, a fishing pier and a restroom building.

Manatee Lagoon is a new, free educational attraction in Palm Beach County. The 16,000 square-foot eco-discovery facility features hands-on exhibits to teach guests about these endangered animals as well as the nature surrounding the Lake Worth Lagoon. The center’s observation deck on the second level is the ideal spot to see herds of manatees. Manatees enjoy the warm water outflows from the adjacent Riviera Beach Next Generation Clean Energy Center. Aside from exhibits, there is a multi-functional education area, observation areas, pavilions, picnic tables, and a manatee cam.
