Cycle for the Cure

Posted by Amanda Hicks on Thursday, August 23rd, 2018 at 3:23pm.

This Sunday, August 26th from noon-2 p.m. is Cycle for the Cure at the CycleBar in Palm Beach Gardens.

The event is a fundraiser for Komen South Florida, an organization whose efforts to provide breast health education, screening and treatment in the South Florida community and research to find a cure for breast cancer.

Wear pink to show support and get ready to have a good time with some high energy spinning to some upbeat music. There will be friendly competitions and prizes and healthy snacks too.

The cost is $50 per individual, $200 per team of four or $500 for an elite team of four. Here's how your participation will help:

$50 individual riders will do a 30-minute spin class and their entry fee will support a breast health education workshop in the community.

$200 teams will also do 30-minute sessions and their fee supports two mammograms for women who cannot otherwise afford to pay for one.

The $500 elite teams will get premium bikes as well as their team name/logo displayed in the studio plus a shout out from the instructor and four swag bags. Their support will make sure women who can't get diagnostic services receive access to care.
