The Loggerhead Marinelife Center, located in Juno Beach, is the sea turtle and ocean conservation hub that helps save injured and endangered seas turtles and helps with efforts to preserve the oceans ecosystem. The center offers on-site rehabilitation center, research laboratory, aquariums, and exhibits for injured sea turtles to recover before being released into the ocean.
The newest program to join the calendar of events at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is the guided evening tours. The program gives visitors the ultimate experience during an after-hours tour. The tours are led by an experienced member of the Marinelife Center.
During the tour, you will be led through the exhibit hall to learn about the different kinds of sea turtle species and the various aquatic creatures found in the ocean. Following the exhibit hall, visitors will be brought into the ‘turtle yard’ to meet and interact with the lovely sea turtle patients.
The tours start tonight, December 19th, at 5:30 pm and lasts an hour. Advance reservation is required, and the tours are limited to 20 people. Tickets are $20 dollars for adults, $12 for children under 12, and free for children under 3.
If you can’t make this guided tour, don’t worry, there will be another tour next Tuesday, December 26th at 5:30 pm.
