The Jupiter area is chock full of bright skies, pleasant climate, and tropical breezes.  These are perfect reasons to stay out of the kitchen and go outside with family and friends.  Make time for a round of golf at one of the many signature golf courses in the Palm Beach County area. Have a smashing tennis match or leisurely day at the beach or on the boat with the family.

Extend an invitation to your companions to stop by after for a light bite and a refreshing beverage.  Make simple appetizers for snacks by preparing them in advance. Try any of the simple lite bites below and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather!

Goat Cheese Balls

Mix a package of cream cheese and a log of goat cheese until thoroughly combined, then use your hands to roll chunks of the cheese into small balls. Combine chopped parsley, thyme, bacon bits and chopped walnuts on a plate and roll each cheese ball in the coating until covered. Pop a stick into each cheese ball and serve atop dried apple slices for easier eating, with additional apple slices on the side for dipping.

Prosciutto and Cheddar Apple Slices

Simply place ribbons of sliced prosciutto atop apple slices, then finish with a square of sharp cheddar cheese and a small wooden pick! Be sure to make this appetizer right before guests arrive, to prevent the apples from turning brown.

Hummus Cucumber Rolls

Thinly slice a cucumber, then spread a thin layer of garlic hummus atop each slice, as well as pickled red peppers and feta crumbles. Starting at one end, roll the cucumber slice into itself and pin in place with a toothpick.
