The Friends of Jupiter Beach is hosting their 9th annual Food and Wine Festival this Saturday, May 19th at The Riverwalk Plaza in Jupiter.

The festival this year will feature more than 45 restaurants and vendors serving signature dishes, wine and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Many restaurants and vendors have signed up again this year in addition to new ones for this family friendly event. There will also be a live performance by the Samantha Russell Band. The Food and Wine Festival will go on as scheduled rain or shine from 2 pm to 5 pm under the Indiantown Bridge.

Tickets are required for the event, which sells out every year. General Admission tickets are $45 dollars purchased online or $55 dollars at the door and children’s tickets, 12 and under are $20 dollars. Parking is available throughout Harbourside Place. There is also a VIP ticket for $100 dollars that offers early admission, reserved seating and reserved parking. There is no costs beyond the ticket price throughout the festival. Dogs are welcome on leashes.

The Friends of Jupiter Beach received 100% of the proceeds from the festival. Friends of Jupiter Beach was founded in 1994 and is a non-profit volunteer-driven community service organization that helps to keep the beaches of Jupiter clean and dog friendly by reducing the amount of garbage and debris. In 2006, the organization began counting the weight collected in garbage and has collected more than 69,000 pounds of garage from our beaches. Every month, they host a beach cleanup and the schedule can be found here.
