Friendly Farmers Market May Grace Jupiter
The all natural organic grocery store, “Sprouts Farmers Market”, may soon open a location in Jupiter.
According to town spokeswoman Kate Moretto, an application has been filed by the grocery chain with the Town of Jupiter to replace the Winn-Dixie in the Admirals Crossing plaza.
Sprouts is a farmers market style grocery store that believes healthy living is a journey and every meal is a choice. According to their website, “We love to inspire, educate, and empower every person to eat healthier and live a better life. This isn’t just a mission. It’s our passion.”
Through the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation, they extend their community involvement by supporting health and wellness related causes that directly impact the neighborhoods where their customers and team members live, work, and play.
In 2017, Sprouts touched millions of lives to help make the world a better place. They provided more than 2 million meals to local families in need through their annual “Grab N’ Give” holiday food drive, donated more than 16,000 pounds of food and water to communities affected by Hurricane Harvey and Irma, raised more than $350,000 for the American Red Cross, and raised more than $2.2 million to support local nonprofit organizations.
If you read that last list of good deeds out loud, you are probably out of breath, but Sprouts also partnered with numerous organizations including REAL School Gardens, Vitamin Angels, and Autism Speaks.
It’s obvious that Sprouts is no stranger to lending a helping hand, and we are looking forward to welcoming a good neighbor to the friendly Jupiter community.
