GreenMarket is Back!
GreenMarket is back again for the 23rd season, starting this Saturday October 7th. For more than 20 years this West Palm Beach waterfront farmer’s market has been the ideal place to gather fresh food and local goods from more than 90 vendors.
The local vendors offer a variety of products from fresh local produce, flowers, plants, herbs, spice, gourmet foods and specialty foods, baked goods, tea, coffee and much more.
In addition to over the 90 vendors participating, Historical Walking Tours can also be taken, showcasing the history of downtown led by architect and historian Rick Gonzalez, as well as live entertainment, unlimited mimosas for $10 dollars, kid’s activities, and plenty of seating for you to sit and take it all in.
GreenMarket continues to grow and returns to the waterfront in West Palm Beach this Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. The market will run weekly until the end of April and parking is free in two of the downtown city garages during the markets hours. GreenMarket is also friendly to dogs on leashes, and boaters should take advantage of the City’s free public docks if you wish to arrive by boat.
Throughout the year, the market will feature holiday activities and special events during the market hours to celebrate. Saturday, October 28th, is a dog costume Halloween contest, just in time to get you in the mood for the Halloween spirit.
The mission of the GreenMarket is to provide the community with seasonal access to locally grown plants, fruits, agricultural products, and vegetables. The market also supports the southern Florida agricultural development by providing an outlet for locally grown items to be sold.
