LagoonFest celebrates the picturesque waterways of Palm Beach County, where the water is found very easily. From the 47 miles of beaches and the Atlantic Ocean, to Lake Okeechobee, to the intercoastal waterways, water is everywhere.

The purpose of the LagoonFest is to encourage the public to discover the Lake Worth Lagoon and the importance of protecting it. The Lake Worth Lagoon runs 20- miles, from North Palm Beach to the Lake Worth Inlet in Boynton Beach.

The popular event is free and takes place on Saturday, November 4th, from 9 am to 2 pm along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach.

Come listen to live music, get a chance to see wildlife presentations, participate in a kayak team races, visit exhibitor booths, and bring the kids for some fun activities.

Going on next door to the LagoonFest is the West Palm Beach GreenMarket, a downtown’s farmer’s market featuring delicious foods, locally grown produce, and more.

Gather your family and friends to enjoy a day of fun and how you can help to preserve our waterways.
