2017 Beach Bonfire Season
With the humidity slowly disappearing and the cooler weather rolling in, locals know that the slight change in the temperatures means it’s time for bonfire season.
The town of Lake Worth, known for the public display of art and hipster vibes hosts a series of beach bonfires throughout the Florida “wintertime”.
Start packing the smoke kits, comfortable blankets, chairs, and s’mores ingredients to meet up with friends and enjoy a nice relaxing beach party by the fire and under the stars. The bonfire event has been a Lake Worth tradition since the late 1990’s.
In total there will be eight planned beach bonfires starting this Friday, November 10th, and will last until February. Live entertainment will be provided at the bonfires by local bands and musicians. Starting off the first bonfire will be “Brothers of Others”, a rock & roll, blues, and soul group based out of Miami.
The bonfires are on the beach across from the Lake Worth Casino Building and the Beach Complex. The bonfire event is free, and the parking is metered. The bonfires will start at 6 pm and will last until 9 pm and may be cancelled due to the weather so it’s important to keep checking the times.
