Thanksgiving Cold Front | Time To Get Festive

One of the nicest things about South Florida is its nearly year-round warm weather. Many of us, however, are more than happy when we get a brief, moderate cold front during the holidays. That’s exactly what is set to happen this week.
Today (Monday the 19th) will be the warmest day this week, temperatures will drop starting tomorrow and it should be in the 50s by mid-week, so if you live in South Florida get ready to light your fires and break out your Winter coats for it’s about to get chilly.

The Florida “cold snap” this weekend has lows in the 60’s rolling through, producing ideal conditions for sailfish cruising through. Kitefish with goggle eyes in 120-250’ of water, and after your first sail, target a tighter area around that depth. A few dolphin are still in the equation off Palm Beach Inlet, but no strong numbers seem to be showing up.
