Everyone loves Slime!  So clear off the kitchen table Palm Beach County and spread out some newspapers.   Round up your young kids, older kids and young-at-heart’s and get ready for science class. Time for an experiment in the “home lab”.  This fun may even count toward science class credit.

There are various receipes avaiable to make slime.  Here is an easy one to try.

Stuff you’ll need…

½ cup white glue (like Elmer’s).

1 squirt of foaming shaving cream.

2 pumps of foaming hand soap.

3 pumps of hand lotion.

Borax (in powdered form...Instacart it!)

Food coloring (blues, greens make beautiful ocean water slime)

Glitter (glistening ocean water slime).

Here’s how…

Pour the ½ cup of glue into a bowl (no, not the good bowl).

Add the squirt of shaving cream, the two pumps of soap and the 3 pumps of lotion.

Mix well.

Add food coloring and glitter

In a separate bowl, mix well, equal amounts of borax and water (try a half-cup each to start).

SLOWLY pour the borax solution into the first bowl while you mix with your fingers until it feels like…slime.   Enjoy the “giggles” and “gross” and anything one does with slime.
