Mini Golf Coming to Downtown Abacoa
Construction for the new mini-golf course coming to Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa has officially begun this week. The new premier mini-golf course will be located on the corner of Main Street and Chancellor Drive in Jupiter.
In addition to the mini golf, there will also be a food shack on site featuring different foods rotating from the restaurants located in Abacoa.
The name of the mini-golf course has not been announced and is expected to have 18 holes. There is no official opening date as of now, but the course should be open in the summer of 2018.
The new course will be managed by the family who also operates the popular Lighthouse Cove, located on A1A in Jupiter. Lighthouse Cove, the 36-hole mini golf course has recently undergone an expansion and renovations to the course, including adding an aquarium and a playground.
The new course is not the only project happening in Downtown Abacoa. Several existing restaurants have undergone renovations and have reopened with a fresh new look and a larger seating area. Those restaurants include the Stadium Grill, and The Hakkaido Hibachi and Sushi. Spring training for the upcoming baseball season is scheduled to start at the end of February and a new mural has been painted along the outside wall of the Abacoa parking garage. Construction is also excepted to start in the early half of the year for the new $22 million-dollar entertainment facility featuring restaurants, a movie theater, pool tables, and bowling lanes.
