Miniature Golf Day!
Today, September 21st is Miniature Golf Day and it’s no secret that Palm Beach County is known for its premier golfing, with more 160 golf courses scattered throughout the area. Including the famous PGA National Resort & Spa home to The Honda Classic, a PGA golf tournament every year and home to the Professional Golfers’ Association of America.
Palm Beach County is boasting with golf history and even earned the title of Florida’s Golf Capital, 365 days a year with many challenging water obstacles and perfectly manicured greens. While golf can be an extremely completive sport, you might want to try something a little less completive and more for fun.
Throughout the cities and towns are some of the best Mini Golf courses for you and your friends and family to enjoy, so in honor of Miniature Golf Day here are some of the best places to go mini golfing in our area.
The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium has debuted its brand new 18 mini-golf course called the “Conservation Course”. The course was designed by Gary Nicklaus and Jim Fazio and is located in the beautiful back yard of the Science Center. The Science Center’s mission for the course is to educate you on Florida’s natural habitats all while having a good time.
Adventure Mini Golf of Lake Worth features two 18-hole mini golf courses featuring waterfalls, fountains and interactive waterholes. The golf course also offers a snack bar and a game room for when you are finished.
Located in Jupiter is the Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf showcasing a tropical fishing village themed 36-hole mini golf course that explores the history of Jupiter. The course offers challenging and exciting holes for the perfect family-friendly attraction. Also located on site is The Burger Bar, and 3 Scoops ice cream shop for the perfect treat after a round of golf.
Other mini golf locations located throughout the county include Putt’n Around located in Delray Beach and the miniature golf course located at Boomers in Boca Raton.
