New Mini Golf Course Set To Open Soon In Jupiter
Next month a new mini golf course is set to open in downtown Abacoa in Jupiter. The 18-hole mini golf course is going to be called Golden Cub Mini Golf.
The course is designed by Nicklaus Design, a company founded and run by the retired professional golfer and Palm Beach County native Jack Nicklaus. The golf design company brought experts in to create a smaller version of a typical golf course. The mini golf course includes sloped grounds, landscaping and bunkers.
Scattered around throughout the course visitors will find giant yellow bears, which are inspired by Nicklaus’ nickname “the Golden Bear”. The golf course has partnered with Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation and for each full round of golf, $ 1 dollar will be donated to the foundation.
Golden Cub Mini Golf will include an amenity building to pay for rounds and pick up their golf equipment to use. Visitors will also be able to purchase beverages and ice cream. In addition to the snacks, Downtown Abacoa has several restaurants and bars to eat at before or after mini golf. Some of the restaurants include Jumby Bay Island Grill, Hokkadio Hibachi and Sushi, Bahama Bucks, JJ Muggs Stadium Grill. Costello’s Trattoria, Copacabana, Das Beer Garden, Freshii, and much more.
Construction began in December and is expected to be open in the beginning of July.
Golden Cub Mini Golf is located at 1145 Main Street in Jupiter. Click here to checkout their Facebook page and for more information about the opening date.
