Pumpkin Patches and Other Fall Activities
Although Florida doesn’t get to experience the changing colors of the leaves or the chilling cool temperatures, we do still get to experience the fall festivals and the fun activities.
The weather in South Florida in the fall is sunny and typically ranges between 80 to 85 degrees, but there are a few things that can make it feel a little bit like fall in Florida.
If you love pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hay rides, petting zoos, face painting, cider doughnuts, and more, than these pumpkin patches located throughout South Florida are perfect for you.
Bedner’s Farm, located in Boynton Beach and Delray Beach, is a family owned farmer’s market and each year they host their Fall Festival Weekend’s that starts on October 1st and runs through to October 30th featuring fun activities, delicious foods and of course a pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch is open every day except Tuesdays.
Pumpkin Towne, located in Jupiter, Wellington and Stuart, is all about getting into the fall spirit. Featuring plenty of fall kid’s activities, hay bales, photo ops, in addition to picking out the perfect pumpkin to bring home and carve.
Mr. Jack O' Lantern's Pumpkin Patch has two locations in West Palm Beach, one at the Palm Beach Outlets and the second location near CityPlace both opening this week. The pumpkin patch has fall activities for the whole family featuring carnival rides, hay rides, a petting zoo, bounce house, pumpkin carving stations and a huge selections of pumpkins and fall decor.
The Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival located at the Mizer Park Amphitheater is October 14th and October 15th. The festival brings the fall spirit with over 2,500 pumpkins to choose from, a cornstalk maze, unlimited carnival rides for all ages, live entertainment, a food court and more.
For scary fall activities, the South Florida Fair Grounds hosts a weekend “Fright Night” every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday throughout the month of October, starting at 6pm. “Fright Night” is the premier haunted house attraction including 4 haunted houses with live actors, scary monsters, special effects, live entertainment, music and food. Tickets are required.
