RH West Palm Opens Downtown

Many of you may have wondered what the structure being built in the middle of Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach was going to be. As the construction went on, the gates around the site reviled that Restoration Hardware was planning on building a new gallery.
Restoration Hardware was previously housed in CityPlace on Rosemary Avenue in a much smaller location. By building this, the store is now one of 10 locations in the country, another location in Tampa, that features an all-in-one shopping experience for RH services such as RH Interiors, Modern, Outdoor, Baby & Child, Teen, Interior Design, and Hospitality.
These larger scale galleries offer much more than what is found in a typical Restoration Hardware store in the malls, these galleries cater to more of an elite clientele by the stores many amenities. The company has shorted the names of the galleries to RH to move the brand away from the knobs, handles, hinges, and hooks typical of the furniture store.
The Okeechobee Boulevard location features four stories full of high-end furniture for indoors and outdoors, bathrooms, lighting and beautiful chandeliers, rugs, textiles, decorative objects, and more. The West Palm Beach location also features a roof-top restaurant by the Chicago restauranteur Brendan Sodikoff. The café offers a small menu featuring cheese boards, sandwiches, and breakfast selections with amazing views of downtown.
The façade features a giant mural painted by Retna, a Los Angeles based artist known for the mashups of graffiti, hieroglyphics, and letters. Also, a 14-foot waterfall inspired by the New York’s Paley Park’s famous wall of water, and valet parking is also available at the front entrance.
Last month, the 4-story, 80,000 square feet concrete mansion opened its doors hosting a huge opening party featuring celebrity guests Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves, along with the Chairman and CEO, and 3,000 guests to celebrate.
RH West Palm, The Gallery at CityPlace, is located at 560 Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach. The gallery is open 7 days a week, Monday through Saturday 10 am to 8 pm, and Sunday 11 am to 7 pm.
