A portion of Town Center Boulevard in Jupiter will be closed and restaurants of Downtown Abacoa are joining together to host Open-Air Dining Weekend beginning this Friday, May 15th.  Town Center Boulevard will be closed for four consecutive weekends for the event. 

The restaurants are joining together to host the new event. Tables and chairs will be lining the street of Abacoa’s Town Center between Crescent Drive and Edna Hibel Drive.  The tables will be spread out to create a nice enjoyable outdoor dining experience while still keeping distance.  Tables will be set up six feet apart and no more than ten people can be placed at one table.

On the second Friday of every month, Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa hosts their reoccurring Food Truck Invasions. Come out and taste some of the best food from some of the best Food Trucks in South Florida.

Bring your own chairs, blankets, and even a table to sit out and enjoy the food and music. There will be a live DJ playing all the latest hits at the Abacoa Amphitheater. The Food Truck Invasion is free to attend with food and beverage purchases.

This Saturday night, the Town of Jupiter is hosting a Family Movie Night as part of their free outdoor movie series. Family Movie Night will take place at Abacoa’s Community Park.

Bring your own chairs, blankets and arrive early for a good spot to see Disney’s Aladdin playing on the two-story inflatable big screen. The movie playing is Disney’s Aladdin.

Aladdin is about a young and loveable street man who meets and befriends Princess Jasmine, the daughter of the Sultan of Agrabah. Its that time again to celebrate the Town of Jupiter. The annual Jupiter Jubilee is back again, and this year will be taking over Abacoa’s Community Park while the Town’s Municipal Complex is under construction.

The Jupiter Jubilee has been in the first week of February since 2003. The neighborhood friendly event helps to bring the community together and celebrate the success and lifestyle of Jupiter. The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium along with Student ACES are hosting their 6th Annual Heroes VS. Hotshots Kickball Game in Jupiter this weekend.

Come and watch the celebrity “Hotshots” take on the Military, Fire and Police Officers “Heroes” in a fun and competitive kickball game on the main field.

The family friendly event will also feature carnivals rides, games, live music and entertainment, food from Bolay, bounce houses, prizes, and much more. The event is free to attend, and ride and game tickets will be available for purchase and sold onsite.

This weekend there is three baseball games and an event going on at the Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Downtown Abacoa. Downtown Abacoa offers a wide variety of shopping, entertainment and restaurants for you to check out before or after the baseball game.

The stadium is home to the Jupiter Hammerheads and the Palm Beach Cardinals in addition to being the home to the two Major League teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins during their Spring Training.
