The Town of Jupiter recently released information about how to register your child for the Summer Youth Camps this year. Beginning next week, parents or guardians can go online and enter a lottery to register for camp.

The Lottery Registration will be online beginning Tuesday, May 11th through Thursday, May 13th by using the town’s registration system. Due to the reduced camp capacity, the Summer Youth Camp Lottery will only be available to Jupiter residents only.

The Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida is hosting a three-day virtual summer camp for kids and space enthusiasts.

The virtual summer camp will feature hands-on missions inspired by real launches to the moon, science, technology, engineering and math activities. Kids will also get a change to take a virtual trip to Mars. The virtual summer camp is aimed for elementary school age students and is open to everyone around the United States.

This summer, the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is hosting a virtual summer camp for kids interested in nature and science.

The summer camp consists of five sessions once a week and campers will get a chance to create activities through their interactive camp sessions. The campers must have access to a computer of mobile device and most of the activities will take place outside in your own backyard.

The sessions include topics such as conservation, cool science facts, and South Florida’s eco-system. Those who register for the virtual camp will receive a camp box filled with supplies for crafts, exploration, and activities.

The Town of Jupiter is thinking of fun and entertaining ways to keep kids thinking and active this summer. The town recently announced their newest program called “Camp in a Box”.

Every month during the summer, the town hosts a summer camp filled with activities and projects that all match that week’s theme. Each week has a different thing and each box includes activities such as cooking projects, socially distinct games, arts and crafts, virtual tours, and much more. Tour counselors will create videos and post them each week for guidance and directions.

Four local organizations, Manatee Lagoon, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Lion Country Safari and the Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society have partnered to reveal their Wild About Wildlife Virtual Summer Camp Program.
