Having been postponed since November of 2020 due to inclement weather, the tournament was a welcome weekend of festivities and fishing in a community missed and loved by so many.…

The Paws and Reels Fishing Tournament this past weekend involved more than just fishing. It raised money for Amber's Animal Outreach, and was a celebration of man's best friend as people from Northern Palm Beach County brought their rescue pups along for the festivities. Here are a few of our favorite dogs in attendance, as captured by photographer Michael O'Malley.

Established in 1935 by the West Palm Beach Fishing Club, the Silver Sailfish Derby is the oldest running sailfish tournament in the world. Limited to 50 boats, the 2020 Derby is sold out.

As we ring in 2020, we reflect on a turbulent year helping our friends at Old Bahama Bay rebuild after Hurricane Dorian. Winner’s Circle Charities was the first organization cleared by the President of OBB to arrive at the docks, and swiftly organized donation drop-off locations, sponsored Costco trips, and secured hundreds of boats to respond to the needs of families and friends in the Bahamas. Rest assured, OBB is back and better than ever! If it wasn’t for the Winner’s Circle Charities Fishing Tournament every year, Winner’s Circle Charities would not have had the immediate resources available to facilitate such a timely response, so thank you so much to all of the teams and sponsors who participate every single year!
