The Delray Beach Restaurant Month 2022 (September) is produced by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority in collaboration with the Downtown Delray Beach restaurants, cafés, and fast-casual establishments and eateries. One of the participating restaurants is Elisabetta’s Ristorante located at 32 East Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. They are offering a three-course chef’s menu for $45!

Elisabetta’s Ristorante also has a location in Downtown West Palm Beach.  However, the special prix fixe menu which includes Rigatoni Alla Bolognese with a choice of salad and dessert. The Gourmet Market grew with new offerings such as fresh meats and seafood, deli items, and authentic Italian brick-oven pizza. People drove for miles to see the new unique market. The shop flourished and it quickly became a local favorite. October is National Pizza Month.  Pizza Today Magazine decided to dedicate a month to pizza and chose October. Many people in Palm Beach County must enjoy pizza by the number of pizza places in the county!

Modern pizza evolved from similar flatbread dishes in Naples, Italy in the 18th or early 19th century. The word pizza was first documented in A.D. 997 in Gaeta and successively in different parts of Central and Southern Italy. Pizza was mainly eaten in Italy and brought to the United States by emigrants from there.
