Bring the family out for a fun outdoor family experience. Scheduled for August 5, 2022, is Family Night Hike at Riverbend Park! Riverbend Park is a 680 acre preserve in the Town of Jupiter. The park is an ideal destination for hikers who want a taste of the wilds of South Florida.

The preserve has nearly ten miles of interconnected trails. The trails make up the trail network, engineered, broad walkways of compacted limestone and an additional seven miles of equestrian trails afford a more natural surface. You cannot get lost as all the trails are clearly marked and there are stations with trail maps.

The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival will celebrate 32 years of its annual tradition this summer, with a live performance of William Shakespeare's Richard II. Sunday, July 17, 2022, is the last performance of the season in the Jupiter area. Future performances will be held in Royal Palm Beach later this month.

Organizers said if you have only read Shakespeare, you are missing out. “Because it was never written to be read. Shakespeare wrote plays and, of course, the sonnets to be read, but the plays were written in order to be performed," co-producer of the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival Elizabeth Dashiell said. "The reason why they are still performed around the world to this day is because he wrote about the human experience.

According to the  Florida Department of Transportation Jupiter's U.S. 1 bridge will be closed starting in the spring of 2023 with plans for a $133 million bridge project. It will result in a completely new bridge by 2026. Florida Department of Transportation offers a first look here.  Jupiter drivers should remain vigilant with all the lanes changes.  Drive carefully and do not get distracted.

Be prepared for lane closures scheduled to last until early August will change the traffic flow on U.S. 1 as crews work on the foundations of the new bridge and reconstructing nearby intersections. 

Until early August, the outside southbound lane on Alternate State Road A1A north of East Riverside Drive will be continuously closed.

Attention all “Deadheads”!  There is a free tribute concert to the Grateful Dead coming up on July 16, 2022.  The tribute show will be at the Abacoa Amphitheater in   Jupiter beginning from  7:30 pm – 10:00 pm.

This is South Florida's Premier Grateful Dead Tribute Band! The band, Crazy Fingers, is made up of five guys:  Rich, Josh, Pete, Bubba, and Johnny, keeping the Grateful Dead’s music alive. Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival presents 'Richard II' at Carlin Park in Jupiter. It is Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival time again. This year they are bringing back an opportunity to see the real “Shakespeare” deal with its production of "Richard II. The festival is presented in partnership with the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. The Shakespeare by the Sea XXXII production of Richard II in Carlin Park (750 South Alternate A1A, Jupiter) will take place July 7 – 10, 2022 and July 14 – 17, 2022 beginning at 8:00 p.m.
