Father’s Day is just around the corner and The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens is offering a special gift with purchase through June 20, 2021. Father’s Day began in 1910, two years after the first official celebration of Mother’s Day in the U.S.

The holiday began thanks to a woman named Sonora Smart Dodd, who had been raised with her siblings by her widower father, Civil War veteran William Jackson Smart. She was so inspired by how her father rose to the challenge of parenting alone, she petitioned for a special day to recognize dads as well as moms. Due South Brewing is a local craft-beer maker which brews everything on site at its Boynton Beach taproom.  Due South Brewing, 2900 High Ridge Road #3 Boynton Beach will be celebrating its ninth anniversary with a special event highlighting their unique crafts.

Owners of Sierra’s Bees, 14720 128th Avenue North, Palm Beach Gardens, heard Due South Brewing was searching for honey for a new craft beer.  One of the brewers was hunting on property owned by the beekeepers in Palm Beach Gardens and donated 100 pounds of Saw Palmetto honey to the brewery.

They harvested the honey from 500 hives on their 12.6-acre farm and other apiaries in Palm Beach and Martin counties. They put the “bee” in “beer,” and are collaborating with Due South Brewing on the…

PGA Commons has a new Italian restaurant, Scusi Trattoria.  Located at 4520 PGA Boulevard, Suite 100 in Palm Beach Gardens. The eatery offers indoor seating as well as al fresco dining. Scusi Trattoria’s Southern Italian dining experience features a menu of elevated traditional dishes, pasta, pizza, small plates, homemade gelato set in a space reminiscent of an Italian coastal town.

Scusi is led by Chef Laurent Tourondel. This is the Chef’s first restaurant in Palm Beach County, and he has managed a multitude of dining establishments worldwide, including Miami, New York, Hong Kong, London, and San Juan. Chef Tourondel is also an accomplished author of several culinary books.

Downtown at the Gardens features live music to enjoy every weekend. You can experience a fun, free evening of music under the stars every Friday and Saturday night. Downtown at the Gardens, located at 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue in Palm Beach Gardens is hosting a concert series in the Center Court.
