On Friday nights during the summer, Downtown Palm Beach Gardens hots their Summer Concert Series at their newly remodeled Downtown Park. The outdoor concerts are free to attend, and all are welcomed to celebrate the start of the weekend.

The concerts feature a variety of regional and local bands and tribute bands playing everything from jazz, rock, pop, reggae, country, contemporary, blues, and everything in between. The concerts begin at 7 pm and go until 10 pm.

The Summer Concert Series are supporting the Jammin’ Food Drive which benefits CoreGiving, The Palm Beach County Food Bank. Those who plan on attending are asked to bring a canned food or non-perishable items for a complimentary drink. Donation boxes will be scattered around the park, be

The popular Downtown Palm Beach Gardens is hosting a new Summer Concert Series every Friday evening beginning this June through the end of August. The new Concert Series will be held outdoors at the newly remodeled Downtown Park.

Major changes can soon be coming to the Downtown Palm Beach Gardens shopping and entertainment center. Last week, Palm Beach Gardens City Officials approved the first reading of two ordinances that could bring an apartment building and a hotel to the shopping and entertainment complex.

The City Officials gave the preliminary approval to a zoning change and a land-use amendment for the 49-acre site. The changes will allow for a mix of uses on the land that is now designated for business buildings. The site’s owner wants a land-use designation change to mixed-use from professional use. The site’s owners are also asking to rezone the property to general commercial and professional office space.

The city of Palm Beach Gardens is planning on building a new sports complex to be built at The Gardens North County District Park next year. In March, City Officials approved the plans to build a new 200,000 square foot facility that will include ice skating rinks, rock climbing walls, basketball courts, and other amenities.

Commissioners approved a lease agreement within the city and the non-profit Palm Beach North Athletic Foundation Inc., to build a two-story, 200,000 square foot facility on 17 acres of land within the North County District Park. The Park is home to 82 acres and the foundation plans to raise money to build the new approved facility. The sports complex will design, construct, operate, and maintain a non-profit organization once

Downtown Abacoa is preparing to host the 3rd Annual Cajun Crawfish and Music Festival this weekend. The festival is happening this Saturday, June 5th and the event is free and open to the public.

The Cajun Crawfish and Music Festival celebrates the culture and traditions of Louisiana through food, music, and dancing. The festival will feature authentic Cajun foods such as a crawfish boil, jambalaya, gumbo, po’boys, gator tails, classic Louisiana cocktails, and much more.
