This Saturday, November 17th, ESPN West Palm will be hosting their annual charity softball games at Roger Dean Stadium in Abacoa. Benefiting FAU’s Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (FAU CARD), families are welcome to enjoy activities such as arts and crafts, autograph signing, a petting zoo, games, face painting, and bounce houses from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The first softball game, FirstService Residential vs. Entrusted, will start at 10:30 a.m.

The second game will start at noon, with the winner of the first game playing John C. Cassidy Air Conditioning.

Roger Dean Stadium is located at 4751 Main Street in Downtown Abacoa, Jupiter, Florida.

This year, some of the best high-academic baseball players in the country will flock to Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida to showcase their talent in front of more than 70 collegiate recruiters.

From Air Force to Yale, college coaches in attendance will be scouting for promising young baseball players at the only Headfirst Honor Roll Camp in the Southeast area of the United States.

The morning will include offensive and defensive showcases, batting practice, objective measurements, and three live games. The Headfirst Honor Roll team- all of which are either current or former high-academic athletes themselves- will offer insight, guidance, and advice.

Baseball is not only America's favorite pastime, but also a popular sport to watch in the Palm Beaches thanks to the fact that it's home to two state-of-the-art stadiums complete with killer box seats. Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium and the Jupiter Police Departments will host the 35th annual National Night Out tomorrow.

This free community-building event is meant to foster camaraderie between residents and the local police to create safer, more caring neighborhoods.

At 5:30 pm, gates open for families to come enjoy friendly on-field demonstrations by the K-9 Unit and SWAT team, followed by the first pitch of the Jupiter Hammerheads vs. St. Lucie Mets game at 6:20 pm.

Abacoa is known for its family friendly atmosphere and this is reflected in its kid-friendly events. For example, Kids Eat Free Monday and Tuesday with the purchase of an adult entrée at Copacabana Cuban Cuisine, Monday through Thursday with the purchase of an adult entree at Jumby Bay Island Grill, and Fridays with the purchase of an adult meal at JJ Muggs Stadium Grill.
