The Maltz Jupiter Theatre is undergoing a $36 million expansion. The not-for-profit Maltz Jupiter Theatre, located on East Indiantown Road, Jupiter has become one of Florida’s preeminent professional theatres, committed to production and education through its collaborations with local and national artists. The expansion will create a Broadway-scale stage and the Maltz will have the opportunity to produce the next Broadway hit or national tour. The Kravis Center, Dreyfoos Concert Hall in West Palm Beach is presenting Ballet Palm Beach and the Miami City Ballet performances of The Nutcracker.  The story of The Nutcracker is loosely based on the E.T.A. Hoffmann fantasy story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, about a girl who befriends a nutcracker that comes to life on Christmas Eve and wages a battle against the evil Mouse King.

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre, 1001 East Indiantown Road, Jupiter, is presently undergoing a $30 million expansion. They are ahead of schedule, taking advantage of down time during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The work is expected to be complete by October 2021, in time for next season. The renovation also includes an innovative dining experience, expanded Conservatory and lobby, redesigned entrance and a second 199-seat theater space.

The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts recently announced their 2021-2022 ‘Kravis on Broadway’ performance schedule. This fall, seven musical performances will be taking over the stage at The Kravis Center.

This year, The Kravis Center series is going to filled with some of the newest and most popular Broadway shows and musicals. Ticket sales will be available to the public in June, but subscribers for the Kravis on Broadway series will begin receiving ticket information in March.

The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is offering virtual coaching and classes for students. Registration is now open for students who want one-on-one enrichment in the arts. The performing arts center began its ‘Bring Down the House’ virtual event last year and are planning to continue the virtual coaching through 2021.

The Kravis Center typically invites a diverse array of international and national artists and performances throughout the year and have helped millions of students locally that wish to get involved in the arts. Recently, The Kravis Center for Performing Arts in downtown West Palm Beach has announced seven new shows coming in the fall as part of their Kravis on Broadway Series.

Those who subscribe for the Kravis on Broadway Series alerts will receive news on how they can get tickets and renewals in April. Tickets will be on sale to the general public at a later date.

The seven shows include new and old popular Broadway shows that will be hitting the stage in West Palm Beach later this year.
