Florida’s only drive-through safari park is Lion Country Safari located in western Palm Beach County. The safari is located on nearly six hundred acres of land and is home to roughly nine hundred animals. The Lion Country Safari is located at 2003 Lion Country Safari Road in Loxahatchee. The varieties of animals, including lions, rhinoceros, giraffes, and more, that live at Lion Country Safari come from all around the world. The safari is divided into seven different habitats. You will see some of the largest herds of zebras, giraffes, and rhinos on record in the United States.

Lion Country Safari is one of Palm Beach County’s Top Attractions and is Florida’s only drive-through and walk-through safari as well as an amusement park. The safari is located in Western Palm Beach County and is situated on more than 600 acres of land with over 1000 animals from six continents throughout the safari’s seven sections.

Some of the notable animals and species roaming the area include white rhinos, lions, giraffes, chimpanzees, and zebras. There is 4-miles of pathways throughout the safari to drive through and see the animals.

The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in Jupiter is hosting their second annual Wine in the Wild event. This year, the event will be virtual, and wine and charcuterie will be delivered right to your door.

The virtual event will feature a silent auction, special guests, and animal encounters this Saturday night. The silent auction went live on November 28th and online auction registration information will be emailed to you as soon as you purchase tickets for the event.

The Palm Beach Zoo is hosting their annual Boo 2020 at the Palm Beach Zoo Halloween event. Head to the Palm Beach Zoo on Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st for some Halloween fun.

Boo 2020 at the Zoo will feature a daytime, socially distanced, not-so-scary Halloween event for the whole family to enjoy. A DJ will be there playing all the latest hits and Halloween favorites in the Foundation Plaza.

Dress up in your favorite Halloween costumes for the event and take part in the costume contests happening throughout the day. Prizes for winners include Zoo Light tickets and family Zoo Memberships. Due to the current CDC recommendations, there will be no trick-or-treating at the event this year.
