The Mall at Wellington Green in Wellington, has recently unveiled an adult and kid-friendly wellness program. The Mall at Wellington Green is located at 10300 West Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington. Programming ranges from weekday “Zumbini” for energetic tots to weekend “Zumba” classes for moms-on-the-go, and more. Calling all kids and kids at heart! Summer fitness returns to the Alton Town Center. The Town Center at Alton is excited to invite you to join master Zumba and fitness instructor, Lydia Montenegro from LA Fitness and renowned local yoga instructors Karen Burnett and Jill Romano and their team from Thrive Power Yoga.  Extra special for Yoga this season, local musician, Brit Drozda, will play live on the Plaza to accompany the class!

Come join us in person by the Waterfall Plaza located in the center of Alton Town Center.

Zumba in the Park is an ongoing event that is happening throughout the entire month of February. Every night at the Officer Bruce St. Laurent Park on Military Trail in Jupiter, a free Zumba class is taught for all who wish to attend.

Zumba has become a growing trend in the fitness world and was created by a Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto Perez in the 1990s. Zumba is a fitness program that involves movements and combines Latin American and international music with dance moves to get the ultimate workout. Zumba incorporates interval training by alternating slow and fast movements and resistance training. It’s a total workout that combines all elements of fitness into one, muscle conditioning, balance, flexibility and cardio.

In honor of breast cancer awareness month, District Fit WPB is hosting “Z For A C” at CityPlace for a $10 donation.

100% of proceeds will go to a family fighting against breast cancer, and Hilton WPB & CityPlace will be matching total ticket sales.

Zumba instructors Janice and Alexsa will lead participants in a high-energy aerobic fitness class featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance. After the up-beat dance, cancer exercise specialist Shannon Burrows will lead a stretch and information session as she shares her learnings as a breast cancer survivor and fitness instructor.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 20th at 9 am, and will last about 1 hour. Sign Up Online.
