Get in the Spirit
From yachts covered with thousands of twinkling lights to catamarans that have been completely transformed and fishing boats featuring animated holiday displays, the creativity knows no bounds. The parade also serves as a way to give back, with many participants supporting charitable causes.
Supporting a Good Cause
This year’s parade continues its partnership with the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County, the U.S. Marine Reserves Toys for Tots, and Little Smiles of South Florida. Together, they’ve collected thousands of new, unwrapped gifts for children in need.
During the parade, a "toy fleet" of boats from Tow Boat, Sea Tow, and other volunteers will cruise the route to pick up donations at some docks. Wave a flashlight when you see a boat come by with a flashing amber light or Toys for Tots sign. Marines and volunteers will stop at your dock to collect the gifts. Whether you’re attending a parade party or hosting one yourself, don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy to share the holiday spirit!
Decoration Contest
Each year, one boat will win “Best of Parade” while another (or possibly the same, as was the case in 2023) will win “Fan Favorite”. There are also categories for Under 25 ft, 25-35 feet, over 35 feet, and Corporate. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize in each category.
