West Palm Beach’s very own Kravis Center for Performing Arts, has officially started its 2017-2018 “Kravis On Broadway” season featuring some award-winning and hilarious musicals for you to enjoy.
Starting this November, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The King and I, a musical set in the 1860’s that tells the story of a very unlikely friendship that develops between the King of Siam and an English widow and schoolteacher Anna Leonowens. Whom the modest king brings to his palace in Siam to tutor his many wives and children in an imperialistic world. The unmatched pair fear and hate each other in the beginning but end up being friends in the end.
The Tony-Award Winning musical features classic hits like “Getting to Know You”, “Shall We Dance”, “Something Wonderful”, “I Whistle A Happy Tune”, and many more.
The musical is set to take the stage November 7th through November 12th, 2017.
