Turtle Walks At The Loggerhead Marinelife Center
The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach hosts several Turtle Walk events throughout the year for visitors to learn and observe the egg laying and nesting process of sea turtles. During the event experienced Loggerhead Marinelife staff have set up a designated section of Juno Beach searching for sea turtles while the visitors get an informative presentation before they get to see for themselves.
Turtle Walks are $18 dollars per person and $15 dollars for Loggerhead Marinelife Center members. Walk in’s are welcome but a spot is not guaranteed. Everyone who wishes to attend, including children must reserve a spot. Children must be 8 years of age of older to attends the walks. The center can only accommodate up to 30 people per night for the walks, and the dates fill up quickly. All participants must be able to walk at least a half mile.
Check in for the walks start at 8:40 pm and end at 9 pm at the Marinelife Centers greeter desk. Visitors are asked to arrive on time for Check in because your spot may be given away even if you registered and paid.
